Meet the Met Processing and Resources team

Proven leadership and experience.

Members of the executive team are highly educated engineers, businessmen, and mining experts. Together this group has more than 70 years of combined experience in the mining industry and own 32 mining claims that have been chosen from hundreds due to the richness of their mineral potential throughout the states of Durango and Chihuahua, Mexico.

Francisco Edmundo “Mundo” Medina Trevino is the general director of a well-known mining company named Mecomin, S.A. De C.V.  It was started by his father Mining Engineer J. Antonio Medina V in 2006. who with 40 years of mining experience, was responsible for the development and success of several mining projects such as First Majestic, El Toro, La Parrilla and others.  Mundo  grew up in the mining industry and mentored well by his father to take over the family business that he now directs. Additionally, Mundo holds a doctorate degree in international business, two MBA’s one in marketing and the other in business Management. He also holds a law degree as well.  Mundo knows all aspects of running a successful mining operation from recruiting and retaining knowledgeable workers to creating, implementing, and managing corporate strategies and ensuring a successful mining operation.

CLAIM & ACQUISITIONS DIRECTOR


Francisco Cabrera is a business man who has been in the business of purchasing/acquiring mineral rights and securing contracts for the exploration and extraction of precious metals and minerals including gold, silver, lead, zinc and other rare earth minerals throughout the state of Chihuahua, Mexico for more than 25 years. Among his most recent acquisitions was the Santa Eduwiges Mine and flotation plant in the Guadalupe municipality of Chihuahua Mexico where he led its exploration and construction from 2017 to 2022. In 2021, he signed an agreement for the exploration and extraction of the Gringo Viejo gold property with Canimex SA de CV. Most recently in 2023, he secured an option to acquire the Villa Ahumada rare earths deposit. This development project has been determined through metallurgical research to be rich in a vast array of rare earth minerals and will be the primary focus of this team.

Francisco Alfredo Medina Rodriguez has a demonstrable track record of achievements in the mining industry during his 32-year career.  He has exemplary negotiation skills, an analytical mindset for budgeting, financial management, and business administration decisions. He is committed to profit maximization using multifaceted business approaches and skillfully analyzes information, assesses risks, manages costs, and ensures compliance with industry standards. He possesses a vast array of knowledge and expertise in underground and open air mine blasting as well as knowledge about permit acquisitions necessary for the planning and designing of mining projects. He earned his Metallurgical Engineering degree from the University of Guanajuato in 1988.

Rafael Pizarro Rosales is both a certified public accountant (CPA) and lawyer, and will be managing the books for MPR. Rafael has worked as a public accountant since graduating with his accounting degree in 1986. After working as a group auditor for about five years, he returned to the university and earned a law degree from University Autonomous of Durango in 1997. Since then, Rafael has worked in accounting and been an accounting instructor at a technical college in Durango, Mexico.

After graduating high school, he worked in drafting, welding, fabrication, and machine shop; spent 11 years working in his concrete business; 2 years as a carpenter; 3 years as a mechanical plumber; 5 years building and remod

Lino Jaramillo  was born in Durango, Mexico and moved to the United States at the age of twelve. After graduating high school, he worked in drafting, welding, fabrication, and machine shop; spent 11 years working in his concrete business; 2 years as a carpenter; 3 years as a mechanical plumber; 5 years building and remodeling homes; and 10 years working for a wireless network company. He currently owns three mining claims and has been involved in mining for the past 13 years;  operating mines from preparation, extraction,and  milling, to selling the concentrate. Today, he lives in Houston and together with his team are in the process of securing the financial backing for various potential mining projects.
